Jonus & Evangeline’s Engagement Party

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

This was just a little something we did for the lovely couple. I find that engagement parties are a good way to try something new and not just stick to the usual wedding colour palettes. Most people choose pink, purple or blue. But I was really happy when the lovely couple gave us room to create. It’s always very fulfilling, truly doing something you picture in your mind, when it comes to styling, flavours etc. I was very happy to find out that my partner in crime, Wini, was also asked to provide the centre-piece cake! Which made the whole process very smooth.

Winifred has taken wonderful pictures with her pro camera, my make shift editing has not done it justice. Check her post out instead!

T’s 21st Birthday Cake!

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of creating this rustic cake. T asked for the colours to emulate a cross processed photo. We chose to use teal and ivory and a gorgeously bright pink kenya rose to help the colours pop! We also customized a bunting with twigs, kraft paper and twine. The flavours housed under the buttercream are rose, raspberry and pistachio and millionaire’s chocolate cake. We hope you enjoyed this T! Happy birthday!

Baking for Dapper Coffee

IMG_9561So for those who are curious about what I actually do, I bake, I teach and I set up dessert tables. Also, you can follow me on Facebook or Instagram for more regular updates.

My super duper talented secondary school friend, Christine, offered to let me bake for Dapper Coffee which she’s running now at Amoy Street and this is where I currently bake at (psst, we are also looking into holding classes here!)

All pictures were taken by Christine and Sufie ^.^ All cakes decorated by me.

The menu at Dapper Coffee is ever changing and super mouth watering and the drinks are so bloody brilliant as well! Really love the infusions they make with their dehydrated fruit. And their cold brew is banging. It’s a pity that their shop lot is on the second level and passers-by can’t peer into their super chill instagram worthy interior. They are not your usual cafe. I urge everyone to just pop by, at least once!
