Hard Boiled Egg
1 reasonably sized pot
Room temperature egg
Water, enough to cover the egg
Bring a pot of water to a boil and then lower to a simmer
Lower egg into the simmering water
Simmer for 8 minutes
Drain water and cover in cold water to stop cooking
