Colours requested for this cake were fuchsia and bright purple for a lovely florist who wanted to surprise her friend! Beneath the coconut flakes and cream is the lime, coconut and raspberry cake. I absolutely loved working with this palette this weekend even though I usually choose more rustic, pastel, earthy tones. Definitely a breath of fresh air!

Cake churning passes by so fast and sometimes I don’t even get a chance to catch a breather and really absorb everything that’s been done. We participated in the #OCDessertFair2015 in July this year and I’m really thankful for the experience and all the lovely people that I met throughout the journey. Of course, I also have to thank my number 1 salesman, S, for taking over when my introverted self takes over. We had our popular millionaire’s chocolate cake; rose, raspberry and pistsachio cake, passionfruit and caramelized banana cheesecake; salted caramel, hazelnut and dark chocolate tart, white chocolate and cranberry cookies, earl grey and lemon bundt and cinnamon latte walnut cake.
